Thank you everyone for their patience. It’s been a long time coming and now OpenSource has a fresh face to put to the name.

Big props goes to my good friend, Mr. Kin Lo, (www.kinlodesigns.com) who spent about 6 weeks developing and tweaking the OpenSource brand. Thanks Kin for putting up with my constant pestering and endless barrage of emails!

Concept: Like the namesake, OpenSource is a sum of its parts. No initiative is ever conducted alone. Even if you claim to be a one-man show, you still had to be inspired by somebody or something. The “O” imagery consists of 4 circles: Blue, white, green, and the entire sphere itself. It can be interpreted in 2 ways:

1) The OpenSource tagline: Connect, Engage, Sustain, Succeed

2) OS’s G.O.S.T approach to business: Goals, Objectives, Strategies, Tactics

Sustainability was a key element that I wanted to incorporate – hence the blue and green colour scheme. While being environmentally sustainable should be an important aspect of any business, my intent was more for the sustaining of strong relationships and solutions to ensure success.

And of course, a circle alludes to continuity. What goes around comes back around. And in business, paying it forward will reward you in the end.
